February 4, 2009I went to a guy at the local flea market who does vinyl graphics, took him about 15-20 min to match the font and size then he printed them in red. They look just like factory except for the little trim line around the letters. cost $3.00 per side and they look great.

February 4, 2009When mine did that i just got some 2004 f150 emblems.
February 6, 2009Mine are starting to do that as well and it drives me crazy. My paint is starting to shows its age too though...guess that''s what happens when the truck sits outside all the time.

February 19, 2009i went to home depot baught a can of "ACETONE,, Dipped some Q-tips in it and applied it to the whole emblem. now i got crome emblems. everything came off real easy, i was surprized. just make sure you mask off the body with some masking tape so you dont get any acetone on the paint. you reaallly dont want to do that.
April 1, 2009Went to HomeDepot got some sandpaper(mild grade) and the "XLT" came right off.
