April 11, 2008You want to cover up your electrical parts! Other than that hose it down but just start it once you hose it down and then turn it off! There was a big thread about this!
But the number one item you want is scrubing bubbles! Hose down the engine bay and cover everything with the scrubing bubbles, and then let come off then go over it again with the bubbles and scrub the parts you can reach then hose it off!
Im sure that other's will chime in and help you out more, but thats what I did and it turned out great!
April 11, 2008Best way is to steam clean it.
September 19, 2008I agree with the scrubbing bubbles method. Lightly mist entire engine down with hose, then completely coat with scrubbing bubbles. Let sit 10 minutes and then rinse. Then spray down engine bay with Hyperdressing.
