January 3, 2009Does anybody that works for a dealership *or* anybody know with good truth if dealers have been told by Ford Corporate to be really tight on warranty work? I have had my EGR cooler replaced for the second time. 3 days later it puked out of the degass bottle at the cap. I took it back and they said they couldn''t even see where it leaked, which is total BS due to all the white dried coolant. They claim they could not find a leake, pressure tested it for 4 1/2 hours and drove it and could not get it to leake. I have had it to pule at least 4 more times in the last 3 to 4 weeks and have had to add coolant. I am going to call them back on Monday and take it back. I puked Friday on the way home from work and while the entire area was still wet, I went to the dealer and had a salesmen look at the wetness since the garage was closed I can tell the service guy on Monday salesman ''X'' witnessed it wet. I am wondering if they are trying not to fix something since it is running.
