July 15, 2009Ok so I finally got around to pulling some codes to help in my search for finding the cure for my not so optimally running truck. These are the codes that flashed. 22,33,63,87,95 are KOEO and code 44 for engine running. wondering if code 33 means i need a new egr (sensor already replaced) and 87 and 95 kinda scare me since I just had my external fuel pump replaced. Could this be a relay problem (think that's what happened on my last truck). Again this is a 89 bronco with a 351w. Thanks guys!

July 26, 2009Sorry I didn't see your post sooner,I don't check this forum very often.
I dug out my old list of self test service codes.
#22- MAP out of range
#33- EVP fails to close properly
#63- TPS input too low
#87- fuel pump circuit fault
#95- fuel pump circuit fault
#44- air management system not operating
I hope this helps.
July 26, 2009samick, based on the codes that you are seeing, I am placing money on either a bad ECU or the harness running from the ECU to the motor is damaged (touching a header?). Short of having tons of individual problems that have been ignored over time, that is about the only way that you can get that many problems in different areas of the truck.
