Glad we could be of quality assistance in your quest for a higher caliber in superior motoring.
July 25, 2005Phil,
My rims are 5x135 so check your bolt pattern...the offset will bring the wheel in or out of the wheelwell depending on if its + or -....give me a hollar if you need any help.....Jimmy
July 25, 2005Hey Phil,,,,,, it's not FTW humor you have trouble with.
It's old farts in superduty's with strange senses of humor!!!!!!!!!
July 25, 2005Hey phil , if you need a place to buy your wheels check out www.wheelsforless.com thats where I bought mine
July 25, 2005Thanks Chris. Yup I guess you're right Harley.
And I didn't know you were old?? Couldn't tell which one you were in your gallery pic. You're only as old as you feel anyway.
Have a good night..
July 26, 2005Yeah, the wheels you have are 16x7, 14mm offset, 5x135 bolt pattern. Wherever you go for the new ones, they will be able to tell you exactly what will fit your truck. Depending on what look you are going for, your offset may change. If you go with a wider than 7" wheel, you may have to change your offset to avoid rubbing the inside of the tire when you turn. For example, I am now running a 10" wide wheel and my offset changed to 25mm to avoid rubbing on the inside. You'll also want to stay close to the same overall tire diameter so as to not change your speedometer or odometer readings, unless of course you have the handheld that lets you change it.
July 26, 2005Thank you very much. That's actually what I was looking for!!!
Now when I go on the site Chris gave me I can know what I'm talking about!!
