September 21, 2009If it`s from a super duty body it will fit. Most call them shells or caps. I have a short bed and ARE Z series shell. I leave it off more than I put it on any more. Not sure if I will put it back on again.
September 21, 2009Looks good. I like it with it on.
September 21, 2009FYI, I've got one of the fiberglass tonneu covers and it's a PITA. It's nice because it's lockable, but if you ever want to carry anything that taller than the bed rails, it's almost impossible. If you're going to get any sort of cover, go ahead and get one that goes to the top of the cab.
September 22, 2009I absolutely HATE one on a truck,
but its hunting season soooooo
This one is a Leer and rises up slightly in the back.
I wish I would have went with an ARE because they stay
the same height.
September 22, 2009I installed toppers for 3 years while i was in high school. ARE and Unicover are both good, ARE a little better tho. Unicover made a century series that were really nice too. Anyway, when you have it installed DO NOT let them use a flat foam tape.....that stuff stays sealed for a while and then it starts to deteriate. Plus if you take it on and off it rips and just plain sucks! When people would come in and wanted to pay extra we used a twin D foam/rubber seal. Ill try to find a pic of it for ya.
September 22, 2009I've discovered that putting duck-tape over
the tie-down caps on the plastic bedrail helps also.
July 3, 2014I am looking for the exact same setup TANK`S 250 has. I see he hasn`t been on since 2010. Does anyone know where I could get a cap and a rack/basket like he has?
