February 5, 2010this can`t be normal.... I went from 11.79mpg (combined city/hwy) to 14.21 mpg (also combined). same daily route, same traffic. the only difference in my driving habit is that I have an even heavier foot now. o well, I`m more than happy with the results, and the a/c blows super cold.
February 5, 2010Its suprising how much hp a fan uses isn`t?
October 26, 2010I`ve been running the FAL 270 kit for years now on my daily driver. I don`t know about better mileage, but definitely better performance, especially in the Summer when the A/C is likely to be running. I tow pretty heavy in the mountains too with no problems. My Allen supercharger does experience a certain amount of heat soak when pulling grades, but I think that would happen with the OEM fan too. It`s not really a concern, just less performance.
I added an LED to the dash so I could tell when they were running.
October 26, 2010i had flexalite fans in my 01 f150 and it over heated 2 times. lucky i noticed the guage before it got too hot. as soon as i could i ripped them out and put back to stock. the fans work great the controler on the other hand is a P.O.S. dont know if the issue has been solved but when it worked it worked well. problem is they did not work when i needed them to.
