February 1, 2010Hey, what`s up with rotorpros? I requested a quote over a week ago and still haven`t gotten a response. Are they still in business?
February 1, 2010Yes they are.
"www.ROTORPROS.net (714)309-3620 or best way to contact us is by emailing your phone number to sales@ROTORPROS.net attn: Richard.. I will get back to you ASAP!!!"
March 13, 2010^^^ What did ya get and how much are they going for now?
I`m wanting to get them soon too.
March 13, 2010Drilled and slotted, black centers, with Hawk HPS, all 4 corners, shipped for $350. It was $280 for their Centric Low Dust (their house brand), that Rich highly recommended, but most of the guys I heard from on here suggested the HPSs with the rotorpros rotors. Besides, it was still less than having the shop do ONE corner with oe-type crap parts.
Idk if you saw my post in the 97-03 section a lil while back, but I`m fed up with the crap all the local shops use around here. $400 PER CORNER for oe-style rotors, and mismatched (too hard) pads that make more dust than I`ve ever seen come off brakes, and lasting about 14k miles, with normal driving habits.
www.rotorpros.net or call Rich directly at 714-309-3620, he`s great at getting back to ppl quickly, and as everyone mentions, he`s got outstanding prices.
March 18, 2010Sounds good,
let us know how you like them after the install.
March 22, 2010still waiting... they forgot to process my order and probably wouldnt have ever processed it from the sound of it. provided the order number and email they sent when payment was confirmed, and they still had no idea what order I was talking about
* supposedly theyre on their way now...
March 23, 2010Wow that stinks,
keep us updated.
March 27, 2010rotors arrived in 2 days once they got my order fixed kudos to Rich for excellent communication and follow-up to ensure I was happy finally :smile pads still arent here yet, since they were drop-shipping from elsewhere. so much for my weekend project...
April 16, 20113 front rotors later (2 on one side, 1 on the other), with a COMBINED 16k miles, I am going with either power slot cryos or ebc 3gds up front. the rears are awesome, but for whatever reason, keep spinning bearings in the front and having wheels fall off on the highway.
after the first time it happened, I figured I mustve somehow missed something when I put them on. paid a local performance shop/ tuner to install the next 2 go-arounds, and had the same results - inner and outer bearing races both spun. I give up!
on a side note, I swear they were visibly out of balance when they arrived - large chunks of casting on one side or another inside the hub. I can`t prove this was the culprit, just my ASSumption
