February 28, 2010I`m in the process of removing my fog lights. I have them completely unbolted from the bumper. The wiring is unhooked. I can not get them out from behind the bumper though. Is there a trick to getting them out? I`ve even unbolted what I believe is the trans cooler. Still can`t get them out.

February 28, 2010only time I did anything with this I had the bumper off cause I was doing an 05-07 upgrade and I needed to get some dents out of the bumper since I stayed 04 and that is when I unbolted the lights....then they come right off.
February 28, 2010Yeah, I`m not looking to remove the bumper. There has to be some way that they come out.
February 28, 2010Put a blanket on the ground on the ground and take the bumper off, foolish not to, its 6 bolts. You are working harder unbolting misc. parts than it would be to take the bumper off, Who knows but maybe if you just loosen the front 4 bumper bolts and remove the two little bolts in the fender wells, it might be just enough to sneak the lights out without mangling up the cooler fins.
February 28, 2010I have to agree. Removing the bumper is the easiest way. You`ll work twice as hard and probably mess something up not removing the bumper. 6 bolts are all that hold it on.
March 1, 2010There`s a difference between the 03-04 and the 05-07 fog lights?
March 1, 2010The mount is different. Still easier to take the bumper off for either model year.
March 1, 2010I plan on pulling the bumper this weekend. It was just me, didn`t have an extra hand to help. I have a buddy coming over to give me a hand this weekend. I was just hoping that I didn`t have to pull the bumper.
March 1, 2010Green Hornet, the 99-04, 05-07, 08-up all share the same lens but use a different mounting bracket.
