My 1990 F-150 has been whining since I ran the trans dry, clutch failed at the same time. The tranny has shifted and pulled flawlessly for 3,000 miles so far. I miss the low grunting of my Borg Warner T-19 in my 77, but love the fuel economy of this setup. Any great middle ground that I can install without significant machining? Any tips on installing a dry clutch trans in a hydraulic system (I still have the B-W trans)? The current truck has a 300 I-6, the donor has a 351m, I am not above transplanting the motor as well, but, I have got good at replacing stock parts with stock parts, and have no experience in mods. Any help is appreciated.
