March 26, 2011Hi everyone, I`m new to the site and trying to get my feet wet. I have a Ford F-250 4x4 xlt. I`m having a heck of the time bleeding my brakes. I have replaced everything from the booster to the wheel cylinders and calipers. The only the I haven`t replaced is the RABS valve and really don`t want to if I don`t have to. When I bleed them and think all the air is out and have a good pedal I start the truck and pedal goes to the floor. Can somebody help.

March 26, 2011Make sure your rear brakes are adjusted first. Then bleed starting at the right rear first, then left rear, then right front, then left front.
How are you bleeding your brakes? Explain your procedure.
March 27, 2011Well let me start by saying I have bleed them the proper way as you described. I`ve even tried doing the front first then the RABS valve and then the rear. I`ve even taken the MC off and bench bleed it again. You name it I have done it. Everyone I talk to say that I have a bad MC. Keeping in mind everything is new so the only thing I can think of is taking the MC back for another one. The biggest question I have is? Is there a special way to bleed the brakes considering the rear anti lock brakes. By the way my anti lock brake light does work and it`s not coming on. Any help would be much appreciative.
It`s not easy being me!
