Seen the car-fax, nothing major other then a small accident that involved a car backing in to the rear.
It was mostly a corporate truck for its life till it was taken in on a trade, spent a few miles(30k) as a Ford dealer truck, so I would trust it was up to date on its changes.
Absolutely no leaks! bottom of the engine/trans is clean and dry.
Brakes were replaced 1500ago, interior is a little scuffed up in the back cab, but the front part is mint. New front sway-bar and end-links, and ball-joints replaced 1,000miles ago.
It has a few owner ad-dons that really make the truck an even better deal.
Some things needed to be fixed but, new shocks, leaking exhaust manifold, new tires. all in all not much to do with it, maybe some bodywork here and there.
Nothing that I haven`t done before to my old 92, I`ve done an entire motor/trans swap on that before.
The price is killer though, its listed WAY below KBB. Almost $4,000 less then KBB says for a truck of this nature in "Fair" condition. Which is what is is.
So my dad deiced to get it, since he is the one that mainly wanted it.
This truck will have a retirement style life for it now though. It MAY see 5 miles a week and possibly 300miles over a course of the winter. But other then that, I cant see us putting anymore then 800 miles a year on this truck.
So all in all, I think we got a KILLER deal.
