August 24, 2011I just picked up a 2006 f250 crew cab and have put a box with a single 12 behind the back seat. The sub is hitting the hard backing of the back seat and I was wondering if there is any way to take this hard backing off or another way around this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I will be posting pics soon of the new ride. It`s been awhile since I have had a nice truck and man it`s good to be back in a ford diesel!

October 26, 2011No. U have to use a thinner box or put a grill that will allow the free movement of the sub. Or, I just remembered, if u take the seat out, u can flip the mounting bracket between the seat and the mounting base. This move the seat forward an inch or two but limits the space between the seat and b pillar so u have to lift your leg over the seat to get in and out.
