February 22, 2012I have a 1993 Ford f350 7.5L. I have advance the timing without disconnecting the spout because I have no idea where it is. It runs fine with about 23 degrees advanced. But, upon reading I need to disconnect the spout on this beast. If someone could help me to locate the spout I would really appreciate it. Thank you

February 23, 2012- What is a spout? I`ve never heard of that term. Is there another name for it? Can you describe it? Is this something that came on a 460ci that other engines don`t have?

February 26, 2012Ok located the spout connector. But, I adjusted the timing to 14 dedrees BTDC with spout connector disconnected. After reconnecting the spout I checked again and the timing is at about 29-30 degrees BTDC. Is this normal? I have no ping what so ever and can definitly feel the power can from it. I just don`t want to cause any damage to the engine!
